Couldn’t stop myself from sharing this video of a brave colonel’s funeral and his daughter’s amazing and inspiring response on her father’s heroic death.

Here she paid homage to her father with a salute and  the war cry of Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army, Which was commanded by colonel Rai in his final battle.

Hearing the war cry, which was “This will happen over and over” (with reference to kill enemies), the spell bounded crowd shouted –

“It will !!! It will !!! “

Leaving the whole nation…. Stumped !!! 

Colonel MN Rai gave up his life fighting terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir, just a day after being awarded the Yudh Seva medal (one of India‘s military decorations for Wartime Distinguished Service.) on Republic Day.(26th January 2015)

Today on his funeral, his 11 year old daughter Alka Rai made her father and the entire nation tear up in grief and pride, as she bid her father a final farewell, not with a goodbye, but with the war cry of the Gurkha regiment her father was commanding on his final mission.

The Logical Indian community salutes the braveheart father and daughter and hopes that no cynic will even dare to throw his hands in the air and complain, “Iss Desh Ka Kuchh Nahi Ho Sakta”, (Nothing good can ever happen in India ) ever again.!!!
